Society of Estonian Magicians
The Society of Estonian Magicians was founded on April 30th, 2008.
The founders of the association are Erich Udras, the grand old man of Estonian magic, and two representatives of the younger generation of magicians – Meelis Kubo and Charlekas.
Since of December 2009, the association has grown to include 16 members, among them professional magicians, amateurs and hobby magicians, those interested in the history of magic, as well as purveyors of magic supplies.
The objectives of the Society are:
- to join magicians and artist in similar creative fields in Estonia and abroad;
- to join hobby magicians and those interested in magic;
- to develop and promote magic in Estonia, as well as on the international stage;
- to give recognition to members of the Society, thereby raising their prestige;
- to teach younger members and exchange knowledge;
- to collaborate with organizations that have similar objectives in Estonia and abroad.
